From the Athens International Airport (El. Venizelos) to the Conference venue

The Athens International Airport, Eleftherios Venizelos is a new and highly advanced airport located 27 km south east of Athens and can be rapidly accessed via a six-lane motorway and public transport, i.e., metro, express bus, and of course taxis.

1. BUS

To access DIRECTLY the BEST WESTERN FENIX HOTEL (Conference venue) by bus (5 EUR fare, every twenty minutes, maximum 45 minute ride) from the Athens International Airport, please use the Airport Express-Bus Line E96 (X96) from the airport. Please get off at the "Glyfada" 2nd bus stop ( one minute on foot from hotel).

2. METRO

To access the Conference Venue from the Airport by METRO use Metro line 3 Direction "Ag. Marina". Please get off at "Syntagma" station. Change from line 3 to Line 2 Direction “Elliniko”. From Elliniko take a taxi to the hotel (5 euro taxi fare).

3. TRAM

Athens light rail

You can access the Conference venue by TRAM only from the Center of Athens (Syntagma station) to Paralia Glyfadas.

4. TAXI

The airport is accessible by taxi on a 24-hour basis. Passengers reaching the Airport disembark at the Departures level, where they can proceed directly to the check-in counters. When leaving the airport, please make use of the taxi queue next to Door 3 of the Arrivals Level. Approx. cost from Airport to Conference Venue: during the day is 40 EUR.
